I think it all depends; how old you are, who long you've had it, how severe. . . i know the best way is to break the pattern, but eventually SAD becomes a 'sad' way of life. . it's been so long since i've been a social situation i can't really even realistically imagine it. . .i go to university, but only for classes, and it's a big university so i'm just another nobody in a seemingly endless crowd, since no once can pick me out i feel a bit better.
i'm 20 and i can see myself in that same scenario a few years from now
I just wish I could function normally without worries, without prethinking everything. I know that if I didn't get so nervous and timid about things, I may be able to show my best qualities, in which I really wish people knew me as. I wish it would just all go away!
And then one day its just like BAM! You cant talk to anybody anymore. Your affraid your gonna say somthing wrong and people are gonna think your weird. Yeah i feel just like that now =/ and i use to have soo many best friends, now i can only talk to two of them. And i have NO idea how to tell my parents about this. They just say im shy or its all in my head or somthing like that.
